Indoor Social Leagues at Grace Chapel
LPC Social Leagues
Lexington Pickleball Club’s Social Leagues (SL) embody the essence of LPC as a pickleball social club. Held at Grace Chapel from mid-September thru early May, the Social Leagues are weekly 1 ½ or 2-hour leveled play sessions that run in 4 to 7-week blocks depending upon holidays and school vacation schedules (when Grace is unavailable). Regardless, the players remain together as a core group for the duration of the SL block.
The cost of a Social League is the same as a bundled open play session, $10 per session, so a 6-week SL is $60, a 5-week SL is $50 and so on. The only difference is that you pay for the block of sessions up front and are guaranteed a spot each week.
Why should I join a Social League?
Since players enroll for the entire SL block, they can skip the hassle of waitlists, bundles or worrying about getting into a session.
Playing with the same core group each week helps to build a community of trust, support, camaraderie and friendship.
Since there are SLs for every level, they provide members with the unique opportunity to play with others at the same skill level and evaluate their own rating level.
How do I know the days and times for the Social League?
The days and times for each of the SL are listed on the monthly calendar on the LPC Website.
What are the Relevant Dates for the Fall 2026 – 2027 Season?
SL memberships can be purchased as follows on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I join a Social League
Joining a SL is different from signing up for an open play session.
It involves a 2-step process:
Step I:
Sign up Below: Go to the drop-down box (on this page). Use the down arrow to scroll to find the SL for your level. Click on the level. Add the SL to your cart and make your payment.
PLEASE NOTE- Each player may only sign up for ONE SL per series!
Step 2:
Sign up for Individual Sessions on PlayTime Scheduler (PTS): Within a day or two, you will receive an email from the LPC Social League Coordinator (Ronni Skerker) and a Playtime Scheduler invitation asking you to add your name to each of the SL sessions on PTS. Why do we ask you to do this? Because LPC cannot add your name to a PTS play list. You must do this yourself using your own PTS account. (If you know ahead of time that you cannot make a certain date, you can either sign up and find a substitute player or skip that week.)
What if I am unable to attend one of the Social League sessions?
If you are unable to attend a session you may do one of the following:
Remove your name from the SL play list so that someone may move off the waitlist. PLEASE do this as soon as possible to give the WL player adequate notice. The player coming off the waitlist will be charged for the session by LPC.
Give your spot to a designated player AT THE SAME LEVEL, in which case, we ask that you put a note in PTS letting the session manager know you are not playing and who is taking your spot. The player taking your spot is NOT charged for the session by LPC.
PLEASE NOTE: LPC does not provide refunds for sessions or get involved in any exchange of payment between players.
What if I can’t commit to join the entire Social League?
Remaining spots (if available) will be open to everyone approximately 10 - 11 days prior to the start of the session.
If you sign up for a spot, the fee is $15 per session, or you can purchase and use a LPC bundled session. Like open play sessions, you must cancel by 6 PM the evening prior to avoid a charge if you can’t attend.
